True JDM, 1972 Nissan Skyline GL

True JDM, 1972 Nissan Skyline GL

This Japanese classic car it truly JDM car made by Nissan Motors, as the picture is a late of first generation Skyline known as the C10 series released in 1972 come in 4-door sedan body style, excellent condition with original low miles on it. Officially the C10 series was never been exported to the United States so it a really rare car. But his already in Alaska since 2012, shipped directly from Yokohama Japan.

The pics as confirm, the exterior looks so coolest, nothing see horrible rust, straight shape, nice chrome and all still with complete trim as the original. The interior looks equally good, so neat. The engine looks so healthy and clean has been upgraded and tuned as its seller said, if you interested come to see is good for yours. Overall I think it a cool old JDM car with some trivial issue can be resolved quickly.

Here's the G18 four cylinder, the most powerful of three offered with a factory rated 105 HP. This one runs upgraded twin SU/Hitachi carbs in place of its original, single unit and is now likely to match the L20-powered 2000GT 120 HP.

  • 1972 Nissan Skyline GL 1800 - 5 speed manual / right hand drive
  • This is a racing tuned version of the 4 cylinder engine designed by Prince Motors, Ltd.
  • Probably less than six of these cars exist in the country today
  • She is registered and titled here in Alaska
  • In very good condition - mechanical / body / interior
  • There is the smallest amount of rust at the bottom of the doors on the passenger side and drivers side. However, there is no rust at all in the door frame, and absolutely none on the undercarriage of the car. That is actually astounding. No rust.
  • There is some electrical issue because the headlights, brake lights, blinkers are not working. I don't know anyone in Anchorage qualified to work on this car and I am not going to attempt to fix it. That will be up to the new owner.

A thick clear notebook full of papers with every oil change, every trip to the mechanic over the last 44 years, all in Japanese, comes with the car.

This Skyline went through the High Performance wing of Nissan in 1972 (now known as NISMO). It was designed by Prince Motors, Ltd.
