Extremely Rare Car, 1951 Packard 300 For Sale
Hard to find today, an extremely rare car coming from American manufacturer Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan. 1951 Packard 300 VIN: 24727889 in excellent condition overall, needs nothing, runs and drives well. As the seller says, only 15,309 were ever made, and this is one of a few left today.Found dusty in the garage for the last 10 years and remains in perfect shape, is very solid, has no dent or rust, and recently received an engine and transmission rebuild. It could be a remarkable example of a 1951 Packard 300 sedan.
No words about renovations, the interior looks great for its age, and everything looks clean and tidy, nice to see the radio and hope it works well and all the instruments and equipment inside can be a blessing to the next owner.
It's a Packard's venerable Super Eight engine family. 1951 Packard 300 featuring a 327 ci (5,360 cc) "Thunderbolt" inline eight flat head engine mated automatic transmission that has only 85000 miles on it and less than 50 miles since rebuild.

Selling an extremely rare 1951 Packard 300 (Only 15,309 of this model were made and there is only a few left today). This car was found sitting in a garage for 10 years covered in dust. It has an inline 8 cylinder 327 CI motor that runs great and has less than 50 miles on a rebuild. The transmission rebuild is being done right now. UPDATE: FINISHED ($3000 Advanced Transmissions in Santee). It has been converted to 12 volt at some point in time and all the lights and turn signals work. New Bosch battery, new coil, new points and new condenser. New spark plugs, new wires, new distributor cap & rotor. New fuel pump and new fuel-filter. The radiator was removed and boiled out, pressure tested and new radiator cap. New hoses, new oil and new coolant. There is absolutely no rust anywhere, not even surface rust. The gas tank was drained and cleaned. This car is priced to sell quick. Clean Title in hand, no dents or prior damage at anytime anywhere, and the condition inside and out is over the top. So much so I would venture to guess this is one of the best examples of it's kind anywhere. Registration is current I paid all the back fees ($800). Black custom CA plates on order "Real 51". This car is a real head turner, showstopper, and a rolling piece of art on beautiful whitewall tires and gorgeous paint.
