Offered by German manufacturer Volkswagen in the 80s, the Scirocco named, it's a high-performance front-wheel-drive car powered by the most efficient and strong tiny engine ever made by Volkswagen known as Scirocco 16V, assembled at Karmann Coachworks and sold in the US between 1986-1988, was then the most powerful and athletic VW till today.

Despite being replaced by the Corrado where more expensive, some enthusiasm agreed there was not really quite like the Scirocco 16V.

As shown here coming from the second generation of the Scirocco lineage, the 1987 VW Scirocco 16V finished in black over black interior North American version, is specially offered to the United States market, which are slightly different specs to the worldwide version due to different emission and safety regulations on that time.

Found this a runner that was listed on craigslist looking for a new home, the second generation of the Mediterranean wind offered by German manufacturer Volkswagen in the 80s known as the Scirocco. Hard to find today, You will not see often on the road, this a North American version, were is offered for the United States and Canadian user, which is slightly different from those of Scirocco's sold around the world, due to different emission and safety regulations.

This 1987 VW Scirocco 16V runs and drives well with 187K miles on it. It could be a nice project, but you must see this before starting it, a good-looking, 1986 Volkswagen Scirocco 16V.

Here we found a 1969 VW Type 3 Squareback being offered for sale on craigslist, located in West Bend, Wisconsin. It's the third car model made by German automaker Volkswagen after Type 1, Type 2 well known as Type 3. All three are based on the same layout while retaining their engineering principles, namely rear-mounted, air-cooled, rear-wheel drive engines.

Following the success of Type 1 and Type 2, Type 3 was designed as an economical family compact car offered in the US market in the 60s with the monocoque body construction, automatic transmission or manual as the option, electronic fuel injection, and greater propulsion. As shown here is a 2-door station wagon known as the Squareback, released in 1969 and comes with standard specs powered by a fuel-injected and air-cooled 1.6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.
