Rarer Than GTO, 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, Manual Trans

Rarer Than GTO, 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, Manual Trans

Rarer Than GTO, 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, Manual Trans For Sale

I came across a third-generation Pontiac LeMans for sale on Craigslist in Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts. The asking price is $39,900. Initially, the LeMans was a trim upgrade based on the Tempest. However, in 1971, Pontiac discontinued the Tempest name and introduced its intermediate lineup as the LeMans and GTO as a separate line. As we all know, the GTO is one of the most popular muscle cars and it was spawned from the LeMans lineup.

The car listed for sale is a fine example of the 1971 LeMans Sport edition, which is a combination of GTO and LeMans. This was done to avoid insurance premium surcharges that were imposed on muscle cars at that time. Essentially, it was a GTO in LeMans clothing.

Here we found a 1969 VW Type 3 Squareback being offered for sale on craigslist, located in West Bend, Wisconsin. It's the third car model made by German automaker Volkswagen after Type 1, Type 2 well known as Type 3. All three are based on the same layout while retaining their engineering principles, namely rear-mounted, air-cooled, rear-wheel drive engines.

Following the success of Type 1 and Type 2, Type 3 was designed as an economical family compact car offered in the US market in the 60s with the monocoque body construction, automatic transmission or manual as the option, electronic fuel injection, and greater propulsion. As shown here is a 2-door station wagon known as the Squareback, released in 1969 and comes with standard specs powered by a fuel-injected and air-cooled 1.6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.

Found this immaculate example of the British executive cars built by British Leyland (BL), under the Rover flag, being offered for sale on Craigslist asking $4,950 location at Tarzana, Los Angeles. It's ultra-rare in the US, especially in its condition, it could be a remarkable example of the 1969 Rover 2000 4-door Sedan.

The 53-year-old sedan is a highly original and complete survivor that runs and drives well with 64,000 original miles on it. The Interior is in remarkably good shape, with some retouching in its original color. This is a great chance if you want to grab a slice of British executive saloon goodness on the market today.

Pro Street Car, 1969 Camaro 502 HT looking for a new owner

Found this one coolest pro street car ever seen here at autorestorationice.com, that was based on a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro being offered for sale on Craigslist about 6 days ago and still online today. Very less detail just shows the outcome of the ad trying to invite potential buyers to ask and then obsessed with coming.

This is a Pro Street Car that actually runs on the street, that was looking for a new owner. Although no story about the background or development process of the car, it's already made me interested in sharing here to enjoy together. All look great proven by photos, a really cool Camaro comes with giant machinery. Need nothing, just $29500 to bring it home, located in Phoenix, Arizona.

1969 Intermeccanica Italia Spyder Has Been Restored

A rare 1969 Intermeccanica Italia Spyder with an American drivetrain is being offered for sale on Craigslist in California for $129999. The Intermeccanica Italia Spyder is a classic Italian sports car that was manufactured by a private automotive industry founded by Frank Reisner in 1959. This particular model is a fully restored version, retaining its original engine, transmission, body, and chassis. It is a perfect example of the Intermeccanica Spyder that still exists today and is looking for a new home.

The Intermeccanica Italia Spyder was a dream come true for Frank Reisner and his wife Paula, who were passionate car enthusiasts. Established in 1959, the Intermeccanica cars combined Italian artistry with an American powertrain. After a series of name, ownership, and engineering changes within the company, they began production of the Italia Spyder in 1967. The first Italians were exported to the United States in 1968. These cars were unlike anything else on the market and quickly gained the attention of discerning American car lovers. However, with limited production and a hefty price tag of $8,500, only the well-off could afford them. To many aficionados, the Intermeccanica Italia Spyder was an automotive masterpiece.

1969 Pontiac Catalina Bonneville Convertible

1969 Pontiac Catalina Bonneville Convertible

1969 Pontiac Catalina Bonneville Convertible

Little bit confusing between Catalina and Bonneville, they are is different car but styled was similar overall. Only badges can distinguish, however, if no badges you should come closer inspection to find one of them.

This a late of third generation Catalina, but did not rule it is a fourth generation of the Bonneville. Released in 1969 fairly cool in Convertible style, found this one in Craigslist looking for a new owner, asking $15000 located in Vista, California. Unfortunately the restoration outcome not optimal represented by low light photos but anyway its still show a little how that's look in real.

For both lineages especially the Catalina, 1969 model was received a major restyling. Like a smooth transition or preparation for jump to next generation the factory give a new face for the 1969 with aligned headlights but still retain its beak and followed by the final model a year later with more widely beak were is more similar with the next generation style.

As shown here all look clean and neat inside and outside, the engine bay fitted by its original content without followed by issue as the owner promising. This could be one nicest example of the classic Pontiac restoration outcome. So this Catalina or Bonneville is doesn't matter.
