Found this one offered for sale by the owner, a quite rare Japanese sports car produced by Toyota, one of 3000 25th Anniversary Editions of the Toyota Celica that was released in 1996 and has been modified and upgraded with 225000 miles on it, looking for a new owner. 1996 Toyota Celica GT Coupe finished in black, a limited edition model built to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Celica. Powered by a 2.2-liter 5S-FE inline-four able to produce about 135 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.1996 Celica 25th Anniversary Edition is part of the six-generation line, produced from October 1993 to June 1999. Has four large round headlamps, and the body is slightly larger but lighter than the fifth generation. Coupe models are for America only.

It's a high-performance variant of the Celica, fitted with a turbocharged backed by full-time AWD, well-known as the Toyota Celica GT-Four WRC (ST205), released in 1994.Only 2500 homologation cars ever build, allow Toyota to bring the GT-Four as a Rally car in the World Rally Championship. Of the 2500 GT-Four WRC built, 2100 are still in Japan, 300 were exported to Europe, 77 to Australia, 5 to New Zealand, and a few to the general markets. As shown here one of the 2100 GT-Fours stayed in Japan, currently in the U.S.
