Here's a mid-engined roadster produced by the English manufacturer Lotus Cars. It's the second generation of Lotus Elise built in 2006 hand-finished on a white fiberglass body shell atop its bonded extruded aluminum chassis that provides a rigid platform for the suspension. The Elise was named after Elisa, the granddaughter of Romano Artioli who was chairman of Lotus and Bugatti at the time of the car's first launch. This roadster is capable of running up to 240 km/h (150 mph).
