1988 Peterbilt 362 Cabover

Here's the American classic heavy duty truck produced by Peterbilt, it's a 362 Cabover Truck model built in 1988 comes with sleeper cab has been rebuilt and upgraded. Isn't perfect it has some minor problem, but overall is a nice classic cabover truck looking for new owner.

Year 1988

Engine, 3406 B with Jake Brakes, 375hp bumped to 400hp, Peterbilt Electronic Engine Monitor System, Purchaced at 400K, rebuilt engine at Cat after purchace, the truck now has just over 500k. Absolutely no leaks.
Nearly no blowby. Truck runs strong and clean with no smoke out of the stack. The engine runs excellent. The two stage Jakes work excellent.

Transmission, upgraded from 9 speed to new 13 speed with overdrive 60k ago. Transmission is in perfect condition and runs excellent and shifts quiet and smooth.

Rear ends are perfect

Front end is perfect as well. All new pins and bushings. The truck steers nice and tight. Power steering works perfect.

Tires, Fronts are 11 24.5 Kuhmo's with Aluminum Wheels, They are 90 percent.
Rear tires are also 11 / 24.5 Kuhmo's with full aluminum wheels.
They are all roughly 75 percent.

Suspension, Air ride. Works perfect

Brakes, brakes and drums were replaced just before it was taken offline. They are nearly 100 percent.

Fuel tanks, 100 gallon x 2. They are powder coated black not painted.

CAB
The cab is nice for an 88.
The seats are good.
The carpet on the house is nice.
The mattress is good.
The windshield is nice as well as the corner glass.
The cab has an electric passenger mirror as well as a passenger power window.
The gauge package is a factory option for Peterbilt.

The business end,
The air slide fifth wheel has 100k on it. It has long rails. It can be easily be moved forward if needed. The jaws are tight.
The truck is also equipped with a standard hitch.

This truck needs nothing. It will DOT and CVSA with out any problem.

There are no back fees or registration due on this truck.

This truck has no rust and is from California.

Problems,
Pyro meter drops in and out sometimes. I might change the sender.
There is a small dent on the right front corner of the cab.
Some scratches in the passenger door glass.
We are selling the truck with out the cb and stereo. We are leaving the antennas though.

American classic truck produced by Peterbilt built in 1966 comes in flat bed type, it's a 351 ST had fully restored. Awesome 48 years old truck and it was very popular with truckers, with the 351 series outlasting the 281.

1966 Peterbilt butterfly hood truck with 20 ft. flat bed. runs and drives great. was restored not to long ago. engine is dry on outside, runs excellent and does not smoke at all.Dana-Spicer 4 speed main transmission and same auxiliary transmission. SER# 21749, Model # 351 ST. cummins NTC-335 engine with 335 HP. Hendrickson pad suspension. SSHD 46,000 lb rear end. GVW is 12,000 lbs. Front and 34,000 lbs rear. Beautiful truck can go to work or in a parade right away.

2000 Peterbilt 379 Cottrell Car Hauler For Sale

Here's an American heavy-duty truck produced by Peterbilt. It's a 379 series Cottrell car hauler powered by a 3406E C-15 Caterpillar diesel engine, had 550 HP, 13 Spd, Engine Brake, Low Air Suspension, 3.55 Ratio, 48" Flat Top Sleeper, 255/70/22.5 Tires, All Aluminum Wheels, Tandem Axle, has 1,200,000 miles.

Very well maintained Reliable truck. 200,000 miles on complete CAT platinum in frame overhaul with new engine ECM and engine/injector wire harnesses. The transmission and clutch were overhauled and replaced at the same time as the engine with a new balanced drive line. Both brand-new diffs were put in this spring. Brand new drive and trailer tires were also put on in spring. Michelin steer tires were put on past winter. 3-car custom Cottrell head rack, 1998 Cottrell high rail trailer in good shape ready to work with a complete new hydraulic hand control panel. New bottom rails on the trailer were done about two years ago, with a few new posts.


Only one photo is present, but he much promising, is a solid body frame and correct shape, with millions of miles still strong as he a young and had good maintenance. Overall it is a very cool American classic truck, a 2000 Peterbilt 379 Cottrell Car Hauler ready serve, was listed on Craigslist.
