1965 Ginetta G4R


1965 Ginetta G4R factory "R" model ready to race!

Fully Independent Rear suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, 180 HP 1600cc Twin Cam Ford, Quaife internals 4 speed Ford gearbox, and only 1184 lbs. Fiberglass body over wet wrap early round tube chassis/frame Ginetta.

The Wakletts, four brothers, began constructing cars under the Ginetta name in the mid-1950s. Ginetta introduce the G4 in 1961 and many examples were immediately presented at numerous racing venues throughout the UK. The car was Homologated with the 997cc English Ford B105 motor and was sold either with that motor or the 1500cc non-Crossflow.

Originally acceleration of the GT was slightly slower than that of the roadster due to its increased weight. 1975 Chevy Chevelle Laguna S-3 for Popular Hot Rodding magazine

Here's the third generation of Chevelle produced by Chevrolet was an extensively used body style in NASCAR competition from 1973 to 1977. The Chevelle Laguna S-3 in particular was extremely successful in winning 34 races and earning the first two of three consecutive Winston Cup championships driven by Cale Yarborough.

The 1975 Laguna S-3 was introduced mid-year in January 1975. This time, it wore a rakishly slanted, urethane-covered aero-style nose designed for NASCAR and louvered opera windows. And as the pictures are a Chevy Chevelle Laguna S-3 built in 1975. Considered a limited edition model by NASCAR, the Laguna S-3 was ineligible for competition following the 1977 season.
