1960 Austin Healey Sprite Older Restoration

Here we found very nice older restoration British pretty little bugeye. It's a good driver on convertible zero rust body. The Austin-Healey Sprite is a small open low-cost sports car produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC).

Detail about this Sprite
The car has
  • Minilite rims
  • Good tires
  • Nice Top
  • Nice side curtains
  • Has been updated to a Rib case transmission.
  • New wiring harness
  • Rebuilt differential with 3:90 gears
  • Newly recovered dash
  • Newly rebuilt brakes
  • New hoses
  • Flushed cooling system
  • New oil cooler lines
  • New choke cable
  • New mirrors
  • New side curtain case
  • New water pump

The 948cc engine starts easy, runs cool, and has good oil pressure. The transmission shifts smoothly with no noises. The body is straight and rust free with a forward opening bonnet for easy maintenance. The paint is good but does have some bubbles on the bonnet where the paint did not adhere well, no rust. A quart of paint comes with the car. The chrome on the car is in fair shape.

This car runs and drives great, I would't hesitate to jump in for a long weekend trip. Everything works in the car and is an excellent driver. This car isn't perfect but it has been well cared for.
