Here's a first generation of Matador produced by American Motors Corporation (AMC) built in 2-door hardtop coupe body style is a very nice American mid-size car. Factory-backed AMC Matador hardtops and coupes competed in NASCAR stock car racing with drivers that included Mark Donohue and Bobby Allison winning a number of the races. The new Matador Coupe was featured in The Man with the Golden Gun, a James Bond film released in 1974. AMC Matadors were a popular vehicle in the police market as it outperformed most other police cars. It was also featured in many television shows and movies during the 1970s.

A super rare 1973 AMC Matador 2dr hardtop coupe only 82k It was born in Wisconsin and raised in California so its 99% rust free and solid as a piece of granite it sports its original paint, trans, motor, rear, chrome, interior, rims, hubcaps, full vinyl top. It has the rare 360 V8 and a 727 trans and a/c power steering, manual brakes. Rebuilt the carb had new rear shocks, springs installed. Front stabilizer links tune-up, oil change, wheel alignment done along with new dual exhaust just did a new fuel pump and gas filter.

The bad is the a/c heater control switches don't work searching for a replacement there's no rust under the vinyl top all chrome is in excellent shape. Runs strong.
