1974 Datsun 260Z Black

1974 Datsun 260Z Black

Here's Japanese classic sport car on Black color, it's a Datsun 260Z built in 1974, here's the basics ready for more touch, tons of resto/fix it work, turbo engine. Overall it's a coolest Z car.

Here's the basics if you don't want to read the whole thing: no rust, tons of resto/fix it work, turbo engine.

Anyway, what we have here is a fine specimen of the kind of car one might find on HybridZ. It is a pre-smog 260Z with an L28ET and five speed manual from a later model 280zx. It runs well but admittedly burns a little oil. According to the previous owner the engine had around 40,000 miles on it when I bought it and since then I've driven it less than 5,000 miles--I spent most of my time restoring it from the sorry shape it was in.

Since then I pretty much finished the interior (except glove box, couldn't find one in good shape). That includes new BMW fully adjustable seats, a full recarpet, new interior panels everywhere, dash cap, improved speaker system, etc. Also did weather stripping, re-chromed the bumpers, converted the engine compartment to actual fuses instead of fusable links, and generally cleaned the car up a great deal. I have a stack of receipts from, which along with Black Dragon supplied basically all of the NOS and repro parts, of which there are a ton.

I have honestly fixed and restored too many things on this car to list but the pictures do a good job of communicating what shape the car is in. The paint is in about as good of shape as you would expect, i.e. not perfect but it still looks good from 10 feet. The car also comes with piles of spare parts that I've accumulated over the years. Honestly, it's too many to list.
