Fully Optioned 1975 International Scout II
Here we found a vintage American 4x4 vehicle produced by International Harvester built in 1975. It's the International Scout II, it was created as a serious contender for the Jeep and he also a precursor of more sophisticated SUVs of the era. The Scout and second generation Scout II were produced in Fort Wayne, Indiana as two-door trucks with options of a half cab pickup or removable hard or soft top.

I acquired this truck from a retired 85 year old tree farmer living in Central Georgia. He used this truck to run around the grounds of his tree farm & to run back & forth from his farm to his other business 75 miles away. He stated both the engine & transmission were overhauled in the past 20K miles. Odometer reads 12,XXX so assume it is 112K miles. The truck runs very good & has all original sheet metal & undercarriage. It's loaded up with factory options & has been kept all stock. The front seat upholstery has been recovered & carpet just replaced. Headliner, door panels, & dashboard are all original showing no excessive wear. A new set of white stripe radial tires was just put on. In addition, the brake system was just overhauled with new master cylinder, rotors resurfaced, & rear brake cylinders cleaned & adjusted. All fluids have been changed, engine tune up, & a new battery installed. The factory a/c blows cold & strong. All that is still needed to step it up a condition level is a good engine bay detail & exterior paint & interior detail.
