1935 Chevrolet Fire Truck Project

1935 Chevrolet Fire Truck Project

Here's we found an American antique fire truck built by Chevrolet in 1935. This fire truck originated at the Port Angeles Fire Department, then to Beaver Wa. It's will exciting object for your restoration project.

Detail about this truck by owner
This fire truck originated at the Port Angeles Fire Department, then to Beaver Wa. Ho River Timber purchased it from the BFD. Later it was sold to the man I purchased it from who drove it in the Forks parade. I occasionally drive it around, but it needs to go to someone who will "fix'er up". It has a nice running 1955 235 cu.in. engine, and an easy to shift 4 speed. Real leather interior. It is hard to steer and the brakes barely work. The suction pipe from the tank to the bumper pump is split, so I haven't tried to put out a fire. Also included, but not pictured, is a vintage fire extinguisher, a couple hoses, and a brass nozzle.
