Rare Classic, 1939 Ford Deluxe Sedan Convertible

One of the best remaining examples of a very rare and classic automobile. Everything about this car is original. This car is all steel with no rust anywhere. There are many 2-door convertibles, but 4-doors are as rare as they come. Always stored in a climate controlled garage and driven occasionally.
A small number were built, but only a few survive. It has been said that only 90 examples still exist. The bodywork is exceptional and is painted in the correct "desert sand" color. The convertible top is one of the best fitting you will ever see and the frame is refinished to match. The back window is glass and zips down. All stainless steel moldings show well. The bumper and bumperettes are re-chromed and has new running board covers, as well.
The interior is completely reupholstered in the correct brown empress style. New carpeting. Faux wood dash and associated panels are refinished and look incredible.
Mechanically it is as good as the outside. The 221 cubic inch 85 hp flathead v8 is legendary and truly runs like a sewing machine. The 3-speed transmission is solid as a rock and shifts smoothly.
