This Kaiser Jeepster is a American classic SUV made by Kaiser Jeep, intended to compete with the International Scout, Toyota Land Cruiser and Ford Bronco. As the picture is a very nice example of the original Jeepster 1967 model year its come with convertible body style, 4WD drivetrain, runs and drives excellent condition looking for a new home.

This 1967 Kaiser Jeepster Convertible / C101 is the first of the Jeepsters to be re-introduced since the original by Willys Overland (produced from 1948-1950). It is one of less than 3000 of this model made in the years '67 through '69, and is one of the most original, un-molested Jeepsters you can find today.

This rare beauty is in exceptional condition for its 48 years of age with its odometer showing just over 90,000. It sports the original Dauntless V6 225cid/160 hp Buick motor with oil-bath air cleaner, the T-14 Hydramatic 3 speed transmission and the Dana 20 4-wheel drive transfer case. Original interior shines with a no-crack-dash, sun-visors, automatic transmission console with storage compartment, shifters/knobs, windows/cranks, and AM radio/antenna. All panels, front and rear with accompanying arm rests, are present and in very decent shape. Of late the carpet and seat covers have been replaced, along with the soft-top - that is operated by the original power, electro/hydraulic motor -- and the soft-top tonneau cover.

Of late the following systems have been addressed:
Original carburetor rebuilt by Custom Rebuilt Carburetors, Middlesex, NJ
Full tune-up with new cap, rotor, condenser and points
Oil change
NOS instrument cluster -- all gauges operational
Complete brake system overhaul with new master cylinder, drums, wheel cylinders and shoes
Cooling system overhaul -- radiator vatted and re-soldered, NOS heater core, hoses, and new interior ducting
Fuel system overhaul -- tank cleaned, new sending unit and gauge
Steering overhaul -- Ross box, steering gear, ball joints, bell crank assembly and drag link, NOS front drive-shaft replacement
Suspension -- new shocks (springs left as original)

This unit rolls out with like new Goodyear Wranglers, and includes an additional Wrangler spare as the "continental" rear tire is the original smaller diameter. It is equipped with the original gold and red "Jeep" baby moons, including for the "continental" tire, and comes with five additional un-mounted beauty rims. The front sports the same gold and red "Jeep" badge, and has chrome hood latches. The paint is the original two-tone color - Prairie Gold and Glacier White - with minor "rock/road" chips.

Overall this is a supreme find for this unique piece of "Jeep" history!
