Details by owner
Well my 2 year 4 month project is finally coming to a close and needs a new home. This is probably one of the most complete 510s you will every find. The chassis has approx 35k miles on it. The custom built engine has less than 200 miles. The engine is a l20b that has been bored out and has a z22 crank. Uses z20e long (6") rods and forged wiseco pistons. U67 head gives a CR of close to 10:1. In the end this is a 2.2L stroker. The intake is a Comp long runner intake with real mikuni/comp throttle linkage. Dual 44mm Mikuni carbs. Stahl header. Original, engine harness, the only change made to it was for an internally regulated alternator. Uses an early nonturbo ZX 5 speed transmission. Suspension is the ultra rare, unobtainable factory Datsun Comp Suspension. This lowered the stock ride by about 2.5 inches. The suspension is factory modified front struts with a custom insert and spring as well as different rear shocks and springs. Also a thicker front swaybar. The rear has a BRE swaybar. The diff is a r180 with a 3.90 ratio and a Datsun Comp clutchtype LSD. This wrapped up with a set of 15x6 zero offset panasports with brand new tires. The interior has had just as much attention with a NOS dash pad and restored SSS steering wheel. Uses the original door cards, which are in perfect shape. Original radio modified so that you can hook up your phone to it. The seats were custom done. The rear bench is the original frame. The fronts were originally mini cooper seats but they have been modified as well. Seatbelts are custom done as well, so the front uses a 3 point harness to keep you safe. There has been a lot of detail and attention put into this car. SOLD
