1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV "Ranchero" with custom paint in the style of Ed Roth and George Barris with upholstery to match...extremely RARE car...only one known to be built...coach-built and Fabricated in Texas as a One Off Concept Car -- Luxury Pick-Up Truck...with tonneau cover for bed...This is a truly magnificent creation...the purple blue& silver metallic paint looks fantastic. . .very ornate for a pick-up. . .really stands out in the crowd with its massive intensely decorated tail-lights and chrome & massive front slanted headlights, grill and bumper. . .it's one of the biggest cars ever designed. This vehicle is in pretty good Condition...good driver...always gets looks and draws crowds at swap meets
430 Cubic Inch MEL V8 with 4 barrel carburetor generating 350 horsepower.---runs very good ...This was the largest engine of its era...POWER WINDOWS & SEAT WORK GOOD...& were recently reconditioned

Overall inside & out---moldings, lenses are all good original, with some minor items needing attention to make it more show quality.---MISSING 2 CONTINENTAL SCRIPTS FOR FENDERS

WORK DONE RECENTLY INCLUDE---Recently professionally replaced, re-lined Gas Tank & with new fuel line. ..

and there is a cracked side glass that's currently being replaced with new. The fuel filler door has been fabricated to look like original. The clear faceplate for the dash gauges is a bit foggy. I'm trying to locate a replacement.

new tonneau cover, as the old one is old/thin & re-done inside with new headliner. The tonneau cover is the color of the purple blue exterior paint and the new headliner is the color of the dark blue upholstery. Both of these improvements are not shown in the pictures but are magnificent.

The fuel filler door has been fabricated to look like the original.

AS FAR AS THE BODY. . .IT'S A SOLID, CLEAN WEST COAST CAR

OCCASIONALLY. . .YOU SEE A CAR LIKE THIS. . .Hey, there were a couple of Cadillac Pick-Ups at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale. Yes, Cadillac Mirages like Cadillac STYLE El Caminos. . .

Also Barrett Jackson in Palm Beach just sold a 1958 Pontiac Chieftain Pick-up Truck that looked like an El Camino prototype. First time I'd seen that. Did see a 1959 El Catalina and a later 1960 Pontiac El Camino years ago that were concept exercises by GM.---YET THIS 59 Mark IV "Ranchero" SEEMS to be THE ONLY ONE EVER MADE
