1984 Porsche 911 Coupe First Year 3.2L For Sale

The Porsche is one of the most exciting cars to drive ever offered by a German manufacturer. For many years the automaker has been widely known for its fast racing cars, but always eyeing agility and versatility. Several designed models speed synonymous, but slightly spiced up with utility or off-road capability, and one such model is the 911.

As we know, the 911 model is many used for competitions besides on the circuit and also used in rally championships for all tracks, such as asphalt, dirt, and mud, and they tough and won many series.


As shown here is a 1984 Porsche 911 Coupe offered for sale by the owner on Craigslist for $55,000 in Bellevue, Washington. It could be a particular example of those motorsports heritage that we talked about above, even if not of them, at least it's coming from one production line. The 1984 model year was built as a successor to the SC series, reviving the big name Carrera for the first time since 1977 and was the final iteration in the original 911 series, as all subsequent models featuring completely new, such as a new body styling and new brake, electronic, and suspension technologies.

Sit neatly the first year of the 3.2-liter flat-six featuring Bosch fuel injection, is mated with a five-speed manual transmission, has been driven about 147,720 miles, and is still in good form. Factory official figures are 0–97 km/h (60 mph) time of 6.3 seconds for the US version and it's slower than the version outside America only 6.1 seconds.

The upgraded steering wheel by Momo and bucket seats by Sparco Torino fitted with Schroth harnesses, seem to build as a racing car-oriented but forgot a roll cage. The angle of the shot reveals worn carpets, the rest looks decent for its age, with no crack on the dash, and hopefully, the AC, radio also everything inside work as to be.


Unfortunately, the red color is too contrasted with its original maroon trim, but don't worry original steering wheel and seats are included in the sale.


Rear wheels drive, and a rear-mounted engine, the car looks to have a good butt. Finished in silver paint over distressed maroon upholstery, slightly lowered with 16″ rim wheels makes look sporty.
