1967 Datsun 1600, Japanese Classic Roadster

1967 Datsun 1600, Japanese Classic Roadster

Here we found the Japanese Classic Roadster on very good condition.

In Japan they call Fairlady, are they it's a MGB British Classic Roadster copies..? hmm.. it not the truth it's just a coincidental, they have similarities on the styles. In point of fact, the Datsun pre-dated the introduction of the MGB by several months. Whereas the performance of the MGB began to slide downward post-1967, it was just the opposite for the Datsun. They’re more durable than most of their British rivals and Datsun roadsters raced successfully in SCCA matches and continue to be good vintage racers.

1967 Toyota Corona 2 Door Need More Touch

I found a vintage 2-door sedan from Japan produced in 1967 by Toyota in the Corona type, being offered for sale on Craigslist as a potential project. Interestingly, the Corona was among Toyota's earliest international exports, coming after its smaller sibling, the Corolla. One of the key selling points of the Corona was that it offered buyers a larger car with comparable operating expenses to the smaller Corolla.

Detail about this Corona by owner
Has 77,000 miles on the car. New stainless steel gas tank, New tires, New water pump. Automatic Transmission (2 speed).

The Bad: Rust holes on exterior in six spots, back windows don't roll down, but if you fix them there is no post so big opening when front and rear windows are down. New brake pads but is still pulls to the left when you slam on brakes, not an issue if you ease into the brakes. Could use a new exhaust and shocks/struts. I have all four hub caps and side review mirrors just not in the pictures. This car runs very well once it has warmed up. We can drive it around the neighborhood but I don't have plates for the car so you will have to bring a trailer or we will have to go transfer the title and get new plates if you want to drive it home. It will need an new battery but we can jump start it if you want to hear it run.

1967 MG MGB GT Special

1967 MG MGB GT Special

When MG released the MGBGT in the United States in 1967 they commemorated its launch with 1,000 MGBGT "specials". Because the cars were dispatched from the factory late, the factory did not have time to install the special kits on the cars and the special kits were shipped separately to the dealers to be installed when the cars arrived. The story goes that the goodies in these kits, including special badging and a special factory wood-rimmed steering wheel, were often separated out and put on roadsters or sold out of parts departments.

Detail about this MGB
This 1967 MGBGT is one of the few "specials" that actually had the factory special kit installed by the dealer. If you notice the wood-rimmed steering wheel in the photos, you will rarely see another like it. All the original badging is still on the car, marking it as a true "special".

This car was originally shipped finished in mineral blue over black interior with blue piping. As you can see, the car still bears its original color scheme. A factory correct overdrive unit has been added, making this car the ideal MGBGT to own. Not only is it a special, with overdrive, but it has the much more desirable steel dashboard that was only used in 1967 on the MGBGTs.

Making the car even better, it has only 60,000 miles on the clock, believed to be original. There are brand new tires on as-new miniator center-spline knock off wheels. This car has been extremely well maintained by a legend in the MG car world who owned it previously. The car goes down the road straight with no shakes or rattles. Just a joy to drive.

The photos show just how original and well preserved this car is. You will not find a better example. Photo by Oxford Motorcars.

1967 Plymouth GTX

1967 Plymouth GTX

The '67 GTX was the precursor to the Roadrunner (which made it's debut in '68). This car is a 440 ci, 4 speed car. Back in '67, if you wanted the big 440 motor, you had no choice but to purchase the GTX model (the highest end version of the Belvedere) which was too expensive for most of the kids back in the day. To boost sales in '68, the 440 became an option that anyone could select, even if you had a rubber floor mat and radio-delete car. The '67 is a special car today as production numbers were relatively low.

1967 Shelby GT500

1967 Shelby GT500 Eleanor Prepare for Auction

Here the most powerful Mustang that has ever been built, 1967 Ford Mustang GT500 or the famous name is Shelby GT500 Eleanor. Do you remember top car on the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" with starring Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie on 2000.

Which tells about the master car thief and his gang in Long Beach, California to steal 50 cars in 72 hours to trade his brother detained by British mafia boss fence of stolen cars . After discovering the list of cars to be stolen, Memphis ( the master car thief ) will save the 1967 Shelby Mustang codenamed Eleanor, for last. Memphis had unsuccessfully tried to steal the same model car numerous times in the past, but each attempt ended badly.

So Eleanor is just codenamed for 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 on that movie. I thinks that a one the best auto car movie besides and before The Fast and the Furious. That coolest movie you must see.

Short story for this Mustang.
By 1967 Ford was feeling very confident about the future of the Mustang and so they were receptive to Carroll Shelby’s proposal that a 427 cubic inch (7 litre) Ford V8 should be shoehorned into a new version of the model that he’d call the GT500. The resulting car produced 355hp and a tectonic plate shifting 420 ft-lbs of torque, it could sprint from 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and could run the quarter mile in ~15 seconds, depending on who was behind the wheel.

1967 Ford Galaxie Custom

1967 Ford Galaxie Custom

Here a '67 Galaxie Custom 4dr. Take a look at these pics...she is gorgeous, full restoration. She has a strong running 240ci straight 6 cylinder engine with about 50k since rebuild with the 3-on-the-tree manual transmission.

Please pay attention to the pics to understand the body is 99.9% perfect, and when shes out in the warm months she is washed and waxed weekly. The interior has later model motorized Ford seats (from a Lincoln) , and the original paneling is immaculate! It could use a headliner. Pictured are the stock rims and tires, and also a set of Gino 20" chrome rims, with custom billet spacers (for more of a hotrod vs lowrider look) and Gorilla lock nuts. while she lives in Thornton, she's currently at her mechanic in Longmont having some last minute new parts installed including a new blower motor, new fuel lines, thermostat and radiator cap, entire distributor, additional electronic fuel pump (to alleviate vapor locking on those blazing hot days, and other small odds and ends. A new clutch, mechanical fuel pump, and voltage regulator were added last summer.

1967 Mercedes Benz O319

1967 Mercedes Benz O319 Original Survivor

Here's a rare classic microbus 1967 Mercedes Benz O319, available in several seating configurations it came in 10, 17, and 18-seat versions and has each with some different specifications as options. They were produced from 1956 to 1967 reportedly only 961 units were made and this is one of them. Most original owners of these were Motels, Resorts, Airlines, or big businesses.

Unfortunately, very few have survived today, as many were brought by Motels and Airlines, they would have all been traded on the newer model in the late 60s/early 70s as they all wanted the latest model to compete with each other.

So what happened to all of them, well the word is that the seats were taken out and they were just sold as plain vans or converted to campervans. Many of the European-based examples are rusted away or rot and there are very few left today.

About this vehicle
1967 Mercedes Benz O319, this the last generation of the series. The O319 custom seat is different from the basic configurations from the factory, he is equipped with 15 seats, panorama windows, and a roof rack (similar to Samba Bus has). 4-cylinder diesel engine, 46 HP, top speed approx 50 mph, built-in 1966.

Need of restoration costs from 3000 to 5000 euros and a lot of love, labor, and parts costs.
