Rarer Than GTO, 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, Manual Trans

Rarer Than GTO, 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, Manual Trans

Rarer Than GTO, 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, Manual Trans For Sale

I came across a third-generation Pontiac LeMans for sale on Craigslist in Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts. The asking price is $39,900. Initially, the LeMans was a trim upgrade based on the Tempest. However, in 1971, Pontiac discontinued the Tempest name and introduced its intermediate lineup as the LeMans and GTO as a separate line. As we all know, the GTO is one of the most popular muscle cars and it was spawned from the LeMans lineup.

The car listed for sale is a fine example of the 1971 LeMans Sport edition, which is a combination of GTO and LeMans. This was done to avoid insurance premium surcharges that were imposed on muscle cars at that time. Essentially, it was a GTO in LeMans clothing.

Very Rare Muscle Car, 1977 Pontiac Can Am

Very Rare Muscle Car, 1977 Pontiac Can Am

Very Rare Muscle Car, 1977 Pontiac Can Am For Sale

Found this one being offered for sale by the owner on Craigslist for $17500 about two days ago in Scottsdale, Arizona. As shown here one of the rarest American muscle cars was offered by Pontiac only in 1977 known as The Can-Am, based on Pontiac LeMans, and was created to be a special edition with a lot of power embedded into him.

This is the second example of its kind ever posted here, Pontiac Can Am they are a rare beast that has a Pontiac 6.6L 400 engine backed by a Turbo 400 transmission, and very few of them can survive for 40 years like this one example. With 65600 miles on it, the body and interior all look great for their age and were present well in photos makes curious me to come closer inspection.

It could be a stunning example of its model that was still run today, and looking for a new home.

1969 Pontiac Catalina Bonneville Convertible

1969 Pontiac Catalina Bonneville Convertible

1969 Pontiac Catalina Bonneville Convertible

Little bit confusing between Catalina and Bonneville, they are is different car but styled was similar overall. Only badges can distinguish, however, if no badges you should come closer inspection to find one of them.

This a late of third generation Catalina, but did not rule it is a fourth generation of the Bonneville. Released in 1969 fairly cool in Convertible style, found this one in Craigslist looking for a new owner, asking $15000 located in Vista, California. Unfortunately the restoration outcome not optimal represented by low light photos but anyway its still show a little how that's look in real.

For both lineages especially the Catalina, 1969 model was received a major restyling. Like a smooth transition or preparation for jump to next generation the factory give a new face for the 1969 with aligned headlights but still retain its beak and followed by the final model a year later with more widely beak were is more similar with the next generation style.

As shown here all look clean and neat inside and outside, the engine bay fitted by its original content without followed by issue as the owner promising. This could be one nicest example of the classic Pontiac restoration outcome. So this Catalina or Bonneville is doesn't matter.

Here American mid-engined sports car manufactured by Pontiac, as the picture is a late Pontiac Fiero released in 1988 it's a GT model come in red like new condition has 31751 original miles, it could be a nice classic collectible car. The Fiero was the first and only mass-produced mid-engine sports car by a US manufacturer, and also the first two-seater Pontiac since the 1926 to 1938 coupes. Many technologies incorporated in the Fiero design such as plastic body panels were radical for its era, and also had negative reputation over performance, reliability and safety issues. Glance view similar as the first generation Toyota MR2.

The pics as confirm, it looks so perfect with nice shape as a barn find car, no rust or dent mentioned. The interior looks good seem a rarely used. The engine looks okay with has some repairs and replacements part, to ensure you must come to see itself. Overall is original mid-engined sports car coming from US, 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT asking $13900 location in Euharlee, Georgia.

This 1951 Pontiac Chieftain hardtop is part of the first-generation line built from 1949 to 1954. Based on the GM A platform and related to the Chevrolet Deluxe of the era, the first-gen Chieftain was offered with a selection of inline-six and straight-eight engines.
